Man City 0-1 Man United

The match between Manchester City and Manchester United just finished with a victory for the Red Devils against the Citizens with Rooney's 100th goal in club football.

After watching the game I have to wonder about the importance of the new Golden Ball which is Cristiano Ronaldo. Plenty of goals and an excellent season last year have made him the player of the year but it seems that Manchester United are a really big team, and I say that because he got a red card today in the Manchester derby but that didn't affect the play of the team.

I'm sure that a single match can't really tell something about a player, that is why big teams scout player for 6 or more months, but I am sure that Ferguson has made a back up plan after all the talks and rumors from last summer about the transfer of Ronaldo to Real Madrid.

Everyone knows that the style of play last year for Man Utd was all around him but know it seems that things are switching and he is not indispensable.

On the other hand, Manchester City have a lot of money but the results are really not here, maybe catch a European Cup this season (pretty hard anyway) and make some important transfers in the winter and next summer, following and learning from the mistakes of Chelsea!
